The South End is a very popular shopping district of Charlotte. Unlike many other cities, Charlotte has its very own South End that features a variety of boutique shops. This area is known to be the city’s prime design spectrum where you can find both traditional and contemporary goods for home renovation. Shops can range all the way from antique interior decorations to beautiful pieces of furniture.
In addition to the unique pieces of furniture that you can find in the South End, there is a huge brewing scenery. Many individuals like to make a crawl from brewery to brewery to try new products, but for those not looking to get tipsy during the day, they can visit Pike’s Old Fashioned Soda Shop. They make some great food, but the drinks are where they really shine with a variety of sodas in glass bottles, milkshakes, and other vintage items.
After a full day of visiting museums and other activities Charlotte has to offer, as the sun sets, visitors can also enjoy the vibrant nightlife that the South End provides. The Oak Room is home to many great entertainment features from musical artists all the way to hilarious comedians. They have a dance floor where people can have fun dancing to the music, and the drink selection that they offer has a nice variety.
Finally, right on the corner of the South End is Latta Park where families can get together and have a nice picnic or go along the hiking and biking trails together, or they can also try to navigate the confusing street names of Charlotte and have an adventure. They have a beautiful playground, clean facilities, and even a picnic shelter.
