Before & After: Keloid Removal

This 22-year-old Filipino patient came to the office with a growing in enlarged keloid on her earlobe. She had the keloid removed in the past, but it slowly returned overtime. She stated the keloid was painful and was itchy. Patient underwent a keloid excision surgery and after the surgery she had a series of injections with 5-fluorouracil injections. This picture over a year later shows successful removal of a keloid using delicate surgical technique and post surgery injections with 5-fluorouracil.
