Almost any dynamic wrinkle or facial line can be effectively treated with RHA fillers.
RHA Filler
- RHA® (resilient hyaluronic acid) fillers are made to mimic the natural hyaluronic acid that hydrates your skin. The unique structure of the hyaluronic acid in RHA fillers makes it the first filler line that can treat dynamic wrinkles and maintain natural facial movement. It’s the only filler designed to deliver natural-looking results that are beautiful at rest and flawless in motion.
“I’ve seen Heather twice now for fillers and she is very nice and highly skilled. She takes as much time as needed to answer all my questions. It’s easy to make an appointment and the office team is very friendly.”

What makes the RHA collection unique?
RHA fillers work with our facial movements unlike other injectable fillers, resulting in a more natural look. This unique feature allows RHA fillers to treat dynamic wrinkles and folds, or wrinkles caused by movement. In fact, they’re the only FDA-approved dermal filler for these types of wrinkles. In the past, neuromodulators were the only option for treating expression lines on the forehead and around the eyes.
What are the different fillers in the RHA collection?
There are four different types of RHA fillers: RHA 2, RHA 3, RHA 4, and RHA Redensity.
RHA 2 treats mild to moderate dynamic wrinkles and lines. Lip lines and other lines around the mouth are frequently treated with this RHA filler. RHA 2 is also an effective treatment for fine lines in the outer corners of the eyes, known as crow’s feet.
RHA 3 works on moderate wrinkles and folds. It’s commonly used around the nose and mouth treating deeper wrinkles and lines like nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
RHA 4 adds volume to facial contours while reducing deep wrinkles and folds. It’s often recommended for the cheeks or jowls, as well as more stubborn nasolabial folds.
Redensity is the latest RHA filler to hit the market. It works especially well for reducing lip lines. In spite of all the notorious movement around the mouth, Rendensity has excellent longevity with exceptional visual results.
How long do RHA fillers tend to last?
RHA fillers have unprecedented longevity, compared to neuromodulators or even many dermal fillers. RHA filler results can last 9-18 months. The duration of your results will vary based on the treatment area and how quickly your body metabolizes the hyaluronic acid in the filler. Your practitioner will have more information about the expected longevity for your particular treatment.

Do RHA filler injections hurt?
Most patients find filler treatments to be relatively comfortable. A topical anesthetic is also available.
Do I need the same amount of filler at each treatment?
Once the effects of your initial treatment begin to wear off, your practitioner will evaluate the need for a new treatment. The amount needed will depend on how frequently you schedule your appointments. We will create a treatment schedule for you to ensure you can maintain your improvements indefinitely.
How long does it take to do an RHA treatment?
RHA filler treatments typically take just a few minutes to complete and patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure.
Are RHA fillers the same as Botox?
RHA fillers are not the same as Botox. Botox targets muscle movement that create some types of wrinkles to create a smoother appearance. RHA fillers add support to the underlying dermal structure, smoothing away lines from the inside out.
Botox can also be combined with RHA fillers to enhance your results. They can be injected at the same appointment, or Botox can be injected first with a follow-up appointment for an RHA filler.
How soon will I see the results of my treatment?
The results of RHA filler treatments are immediately visible and may continue to improve in the following days as any post-treatment swelling subsides.
How do I know which RHA filler is right for me?
The best RHA filler for you will depend on the depth of your wrinkles and your desired aesthetic results. Your practitioner will help you choose the RHA filler that serves you best at our office in Charlotte, NC. Call to schedule your consultation with us today.
