Liquid rhinoplasty is a solution to correct a previous rhinoplasty that didn’t give you the results you wanted. The HA fillers produce a beautiful, new shape to your nose without the need for revision surgery.
You can also use a non-surgical nose job to build up a low nasal bridge or undefined tip common concerns with Asian and African noses. A liquid rhinoplasty replaces the need for a cartilage graft.
A non-surgical nose job (nose fillers) could be your best solution if your nose is:
- Flat or scooped on the bridge
- Shapeless at tip
- Wide at tip
- Pinched at tip
Removing bumps and asymmetries with a non-surgical nose job sometimes creates the illusion of a shorter nose, too.
During your consultation in Charlotte, one of our expert injectors will devote ample time to discuss your concerns about your nose.
We examines your nasal tissue, including cartilage and bone, and also considers how well your current nose shape harmonizes with your face. We will let you know if nose fillers is your best solution, or if you’d benefit more from surgery.

We should be able to perform your non-surgical rhinoplasty within an hour.
During the session, your injector will place nose filler in strategic locations around and on the nose to produce the desired result.
Patients receive topical numbing prior to the injections to ensure they are comfortable throughout the procedure.
A topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area before injections are administered. Many patients find a liquid rhinoplasty treatment session comfortable and nearly painless.
Your results are instantaneous and you can return to regular activities immediately following your procedure.
There can sometimes be minimal swelling with any type of injection, but this should resolve in a few days.
Results vary by patient but can last 6-12 months. Some patients require touch-up sessions 2-4 weeks after the initial injection for optimal results. Hyaluronic acid fillers can last longer in this area for some patients because the nose is not a mobile facial feature. Patients can consult their injector for regular maintenance needs and follow the suggested timeline for additional injections.
Our expert injectors bring a wealth of understanding of anatomy and aesthetics to every nonsurgical rhinoplasty.
Your non-surgical rhinoplasty will look beautiful and natural while improving the overall balance and harmony of the entire face.

Frequently asked questions
Liquid rhinoplasty is reserved for patients that have minor imperfections they would like addressed without surgery. This treatment cannot reduce the size of the nose. If your concerns cannot be addressed satisfactorily with this treatment, Dr. Kulbersh may discuss your options in surgical rhinoplasty to ensure a better outcome for you.
Liquid rhinoplasty cannot make your nose smaller. The procedure can effectively:
- Add volume
- Lift the tip
- Smooth bumps
- Contour and shape the nose
One of the greatest benefits of a nonsurgical rhinoplasty is that it’s temporary and even reversible. That means you can “try on” a new nose and, if you don’t like it, the HA fillers will dissolve in time to restore your original appearance. If you don’t want to wait, Dr. Kulbersh can dissolve the HA for you in his office with hyaluronidase injections.
Many of Dr. Kulbersh’s patients who aren’t quite sure they’re ready for surgery start with a nonsurgical nose job as a way of easing into their new look. Once they’re used to their “new nose” and are ready to commit to a more balanced and harmonious appearance permanently, Dr. Kulbersh schedules a surgical correction.
Dr. Kulbersh uses numbing medication to keep your nonsurgical rhinoplasty virtually pain free. If you feel any discomfort after the treatment, you can control it with over-the-counter pain medication. You may feel a little bruised or swollen for a couple of days.
Swelling is common following a liquid rhinoplasty and should subside within one week. If swelling or other side effects persist, contact your injector for further evaluation.
To reduce side effects and altered results, you should avoid touching your nose 24-48 hours after a liquid rhinoplasty. Excessively touching the injection sites can move the solution around before it is fully set, producing unnatural results or causing irritation around the injection sites.
After a liquid rhinoplasty procedure, it is best to avoid the following:
- Touching the nose
- Wearing eyeglasses
- Spending time in direct sunlight
- Taking hot showers or saunas
- Engaging in rigorous activities that could impact the nose
- Taking aspirin or other blood thinners
- Undergoing facial treatments that could interfere with the injection
- Wearing makeup for several days
