Restylane Kysse is a hyaluronic acid filler with a more innovative formulation. It uses Galderma’s proprietary XpresHAn (Expression) technology (similar to Restylane Refyne and Defyne) which focuses on natural expression that allows the filler to move with your lips as they move. This is an amazing feature because it successfully eliminates the heavy feeling of a filler, and its structure and flexibility allow for natural-looking results after the treatment.
The crosslinking technology of XpresHAn is chemically engineered HA that increases its ability to hold its shape for a longer period of time, as it slows down its disintegration process. The greater the number of links, the thicker the gel, and the higher its longevity. Here’s how the three Restylane products differ:
- Restylane Refyne – (6% cross-linked) – effectively smooths fine lines
